Major upgrade for gourmets

CulinArt Gourmet promotion: Miele throws in free casserole dish with every oven

One year ago, Miele first presented its CulinArt campaign oven models. These models are characterised by a comprehensive range of features at attractive prices. Now, Miele has decided to extend the campaign and add even greater value to its products with a high-quality Gourmet casserole dish which comes free with every oven purchased. These appliances will be on show at IFA 2015. The CulinArt Gourmet campaign, set to run for a year, is due to be launched on October 1.

Compared with comparably priced standard offerings, CulinArt Gourmet models offer distinct advantages. These include 25 automatic programmes and 'Moisture Plus' cooking. This innovative food preparation method relies on delivering targeted bursts of steam to produce delectable baking and roasting results. And to guarantee success, Miele is including a recipe booklet for automatic programmes as well as a bread-making cookery book. Also included is a perforated Gourmet baking sheet allowing heat (and moisture) to access food from below – ideal when baking bread and pizza or doing French fries in the oven. These machines also feature a fascia in local language as well as the AutoRoast mode offering the benefit of searing and then cooking meat in a single process.

Common to all CulinArt models is a large 76 l oven interior with five rack levels, FlexiClip fully telescopic runners, EasyControl retractable knobs, electronic temperature control in a range between 30°C and 300°C, a time-of-day indicator, Start/Stop programming and recommended temperatures for the various operating modes. The programmes available are Fan Plus, Conventional, Bottom Heat, Grill, Fan Grill, Intensive Bake, Defrost, Gentle Bake and AutoRoast.

The campaign series offers a choice of ovens with and without hob controls with either a PerfectClean or pyrolytic coating. PerfectClean is an award-winning surface finish with excellent non-stick properties for oven interiors, baking sheets and accessories. As nothing sticks, PerfectClean makes cleaning child's play: Residue in the oven can be simply removed using water, a dash of washing-up liquid and a soft sponge. Pyrolytic cleaning is even more convenient as grease splashes and soiling in the cabinet is incinerated to ash at very high temperatures, leaving dust residue which can be simply wiped away. A practical detail in this respect: Combi rack, side racks and FlexiClip telescopic runners feature a PyroFit finish allowing these items to remain in the oven during pyrolytic cleaning.

Consumers can also choose between an induction hob and a conventional model based on radiant heat.

The Gourmet casserole dish, which can be ordered by redeeming a voucher, constitutes a genuine Miele accessory: It is geared precisely to oven dimensions and is therefore held securely by the FlexClip fully telescopic runners. The original Miele Gourmet casserole dish is made of die-cast aluminium with a high-quality non-stick coating. As the casserole dish is also ideal for use on the hob, Miele is also offering a model version for induction cooking.
