30 years of cutlery tray – Miele celebrates with well-endowed campaign models

Gütersloh/Rödinghausen, September 16, 2016 No. 111/2016

Entry-line price of dishwashers with 3D cutlery drawer cut by almost € 200

30 years ago, it revolutionised dishwashing: Miele's third-level patented cutlery tray. Now, three decades on, it remains a peerless feature. And – in the current and also patented 3D version – it boasts further practical adjustment features. To mark its jubilee, Miele is now offering its customers the Jubilee SC with attractive features. Naturally, too, with a 3D cutlery tray and at campaign prices starting at € 769.

The most salient feature of the Jubilee SC is the new entry-line pricing for models with the 3D cutlery tray which have now been reduced by around € 200. These are characterised by their great variability and offer ample space for a wide variety of items of cutlery. For example, the central section can be lowered to provide greater space for larger items such as soup ladles. The side sections also slide towards the centre, enabling stemware to be accommodated in the basket below.

The jubilee model further excels with an A++ energy efficiency rating, water consumption of as low as 6.5 l and a quiet 45 dB of sound emissions. Further features include the 'Comfort' basket design and the Miele-exclusive ComfortClose feature. Thanks to this function, the dishwasher door is simple to open and close.

With its Jubilee campaign, Miele is further rounding off its range of dishwashers: The 'Active' campaign model at attractive entry-line prices starting at € 599 was already launched in 2015. In the mid-range and high-end price segments, Miele introduced the G 6000 EcoFlex series last April, featuring a high-performance short programme called QuickPowerWash and top marks for energy efficiency. Now Miele is continuing its value-for-money offensive. 'With our 'Active' dishwashers alone, we have been successful in attracting additional groups of buyers', says Alexander Adam, Head of Dishwasher Product Management at Miele's Domestic Appliances International division, 'and we are absolutely convinced that our Jubilee models will once again attract new custom'.
