Dishwashers: Miele adds significant value to entry line models

Miele is set to add value to its entry-line dishwashers by throwing in features previously the preserve of models much higher up the range. The new models for the most part sport an A++ energy efficiency rating, use as little as 6.5 l of water and feature top-of-the range baskets and new fascias. This all amounts to offering better features at a considerably more attractive price.

The most important new feature is a high-efficiency variable-speed pump which considerably reduces water consumption in combination with the Automatic programme. Using as little as 6.5 l of water, the new entry-line models now play in the same league as the G 6000 series first introduced last year. Alongside improved water consumption, Miele is also introducing an A++ energy efficiency rating to its entry line range.

Upgrading equally applies to interior accessories and fittings. The Comfort basket range, for instance, is to witness the inclusion of a row of hinged spikes, allowing items of crockery and glassware to be accommodated more flexibly. In addition to this, all Miele dishwashers will be fitted with front basket handles for simpler loading and unloading – this too already a tried-and-tested feature on Generation G 6000 models.

In terms of design and appearance, too, these entry-line models are being brought further into line with the G 6000 series by for example adopting the same characteristic controls. The bottom array of buttons facilitating simple programme selection working from left to right and the centred display stand for an intuitive interface and user convenience.

The market launch of these technically and visually upgraded entry-line models is due for September 2014.
