EasyLoad system for fast and convenient loading
Further innovation: SlimLine units with telescopic racks save space
With an array of innovative products, Miele is set to present its wares from May 21 at the Labvolution show in Hanover for the first time: The new large-chamber lab washers which offer a marked increase in efficiency and the EasyLoad system which makes for particularly fast and convenient loading will be centre-stage at the event. Miele will be presenting a particularly space-saving solution at its booth: Free-standing washers from the SlimLine series are only 65 cm wide yet offer ample space for the reprocessing of laboratory glassware (Hall 20, Booth A 48).
The large-chamber lab washers, available from mid-April, have a 50% higher pump capacity than models from the previous range, enabling top-class cleaning results – even in the face of difficult soils. And yet, compared with previously available models, depending on the version and the nature of the load, cuts in consumption of up to 27% (water) and almost 30% (chemicals) are possible. This is achieved through the use of a variable-speed circulation pump able to adjust pressure to the needs of programme cycles. During the main wash, the pump's full power is called on, but later reduced once again in the rinse cycle.
The colour touch display, intuitive to use, presents all key functions at a glance and enables particularly simple operation. In addition, the user is able to see the status of the machine simply by looking at the three-colour chamber lighting which is easily visible from a distance.
With the new and modular EasyLoad system, loading is faster and simpler than ever before. Automatically, laboratory glassware is correctly positioned in the load carrier, dispensing with the need to adjust rests and holders. The heart and soul of the system is a new injector nozzle: It is designed in such a way as to ensure that glasses which need to rest on the tip of the nozzle can be safely cleaned on the inside. Besides this, the EasyLoad system, which allows further baskets and modules to be added at any time, offers significantly greater capacity than previously the case: in fact, in the case of lab bottles with a volume of up to 2 l, the capacity has even doubled.
Freestanding SlimLine washers are as compact as they are spacious. Telescopic racks which can be used on up to four different levels promise the best possible and most flexible use of chamber space. This creates greater vertical clearance, allowing even large bottles with a volume of up to 50 l to be reliably cleaned.
