Load capacity of up to 32 kg and Profitronic M controls

Ample space in the drum and sufficient memory for additional programmes: These requirements are met by tried-and-tested washerextractors with Profitronic M controls from Miele Professional, available alongside the MopStar generation. Machines with this set of controls offer load capacities of up to 32 kg. These machines can easily be retrofitted by Miele Service for processing ready-to-use mops and cleaning cloths.

Profitronic M controls have 199 slots for new programmes which, with the aid of a memory card, can be downloaded quickly and simply to controls on washer-extractors and tumble dryers. This goes a long way towards tailoring
solutions to meet the specific needs of contract cleaners. For example, it is possible to apply a precisely defined concentration of disinfectant solution to washed and spun mops and cleaning cloths. At the end of the cycle, mops
and cloths are ready for re-use once again in wipe disinfection.

All washing and drying programmes are visible in the large graphic display. Choices are made by the user using a rotary selector; individual programme parameters can be modified directly. A machine told before the start of the programme that the load size is only half the full capacity automatically optimises the washing process accordingly to conserve energy. Cycle parameters are adjusted to the load size and help lower energy and water
consumption. Depending on the weight and the size of mops, the largest machine with a load capacity of 32 kg can accommodate up to 168 cotton or 260 microfibre mops. The same machine offers sufficient space for up to 1000
cleaning cloths.

These washer-extractors come complete with a programme package for washing mops and cleaning cloths. Each mop programme features a cold prewash to ensure the early removal of coarse soil and detergent residue introduced with the load. The package also includes programmes for both thermal and chemo-thermal disinfection. Thermal disinfection takes place at 90°C with a temperature holding time of 10 minutes (or, alternatively 85°C and 15 minutes). In this case there is no need for a disinfectant. Disinfectant must, of course, still be dispensed in the chemo-thermal disinfection programme which is available on selected models where a temperature of 60°C is held for up to 20 minutes. Alongside special-purpose mop-washing programmes, the
machine also contains cycles which broaden the machine’s range of applications, allowing for example workwear or curtains to be washed.

All machines for use in facility management feature Miele's reliable, smoothwalled and large-diameter dump valve which prevents any build-up of lint and debris. As the cantilever heater elements do not present any obstruction to the passage of water, there is no risk of an accumulation of soil there either. An optional fluff filter box can be installed between a washer-extractor and the onsite drain connection to prevent the clogging of installation pipes as the removal of blockages is highly inconvenient. This system allows easy access to lint and foreign objects which are discharged together with the wash water.

A useful accessory for washer-extractors is a dispenser pump system installed on a mobile rack. It allows the safe and automatic dispensing of liquid detergents, ensuring reliable cleaning and disinfection. A further option is a water recovery module from Miele which makes savings of up to 30% possible.
