In particular with small dental surgeries in mind, Miele is launching new thermal disinfectors: As countertop or undercounter versions or freestanding – depending on the space available and required degree of ergonomics.
Dentists are under obligation to document the successful reprocessing of their instruments. To assist with this task, Miele Professional is now offering a particularly time-saving solution based on an app. This receives cycle protocols automatically from a thermal disinfector, allowing cycle reports to be generated at a tablet PC – without a cable, USB flash memory or any other intermediate steps.
Laundry has a great contribution to make in dental practices in preventing the spread of bacteria and diseases. To protect patients and staff alike, Miele recommends washing and drying workwear in designated disinfection programmes – something that can only be done properly in commercial machines. Take, for instance, the new Little Giants from Miele with their special 'Hygiene' programmes which are due to hit the market in April. These compact laundry machines require only half a square metre of floor space, can be stacked on top of each other and have a load capacity of 7 kg.
Miele and W&H, two tradition-rich, family-owned quality manufacturers, are set to mutually strengthen their product portfolios. This was announced by the two companies in the run-up to the IDS, the world's largest dental trade show in Cologne, Germany. The partners are using this event to present their extended ranges of products for the reprocessing of dental instruments for the first time.
