Miele coffee machines with new design and greater convenience

Perfect in form and with a built-in promise of pleasure is how the current series of built-in coffee machines from Miele present themselves. An eyecatcher on the new flagship model is the CupSensor which automatically adjusts the height of the spout unit to the cup or glass, ensuring a perfect crema and avoiding splashes.

Miele introduced the world's first built-in coffee machines in 1998, establishing a completely new product category. The current models represent the fourth generation of bean-to-cup machines and are resplendent with new features: OneTouch for Two, for example, enables two coffee specialities to be prepared simultaneously - for instance a cappuccino or a latte macchiato. This considerably shortens preparation times when serving two or several cups at the same time.

Miele machines eagerly adjust to the preferences of users and are able to remember up to 10 user profiles. The quantity of coffee ground, the water temperature and quantity, and milk preparation can be set to suit individual tastes and stored under users' own names. From then on, favourite beverages can be prepared at the mere touch of a button.

The new EasyClick milk system makes it even simpler for connoisseurs to prepare speciality coffees requiring the use of milk. The attractive glass flask with a capacity of 0.7 l has a separate lid for the safe storage of milk in a refrigerator and docks onto the machine with a flick of the wrist. Miele deliberately uses glass as it allows the amount of milk to be visible at a glance and is also easy to clean in a dishwasher. Convenient cleaning programmes with an automatic rinse function also guarantee top-class hygiene. After use, milk lines and the coffee spout are automatically rinsed and hygienically cleaned with steam.

The CupSensor on the new flagship model is a benchmark feature both in aesthetic and functional terms. The coffee spout, which automatically adjusts to the height of the cup or glass, is a veritable head-turner. And, on a more practical note: Unsightly coffee and milk splashes are avoided and coffee is served at the ideal drinking temperature with a crema just as it should be. The icing on the cake is when the spout first aligns with the rim of a cup or glass to deliver coffee and then rises by 1 cm to prevent the spout from becoming soiled by the mound of froth.

These built-in coffee machines are available with DirectSensor or the higher-end M Touch display controls. Coffee connoisseurs have a choice of models which are plumbed into the water supply or ones with a water tank.

Coffee machines with Nespresso system

With the launch of the Generation 6000 built-in appliances, Miele has also applied its new design to the coffee machines operating on the Nespresso capsule principle. This system allows, for example, three different cup sizes to be selected straight from the fascia panel.

The Miele model is the only one on the market to feature a capsule magazine able to dispense 5 different blends and with a capacity of 20 capsules. Simple cleaning and the Cappuccinatore for the convenient reheating and frothing of milk are further key features. The capsule model also opens up a range of interesting installation
