Combination microwave ovens from Miele save time and excel through versatility
Gütersloh/Milan, April 8, 2014No. 029/2014
Efficient and multi-talented
The new Miele wall ovens with microwave are particularly versatile and extremely energy-efficient. Their repertoire ranges from the fast reheating of food to the most demanding baking and roasting operations. Thanks to their compact dimensions, they fit the bill perfectly in smaller kitchens or ideally complement a conventional oven.
Whether warming a cup of cocoa or baking a delicious cake – the user only has to set the microwave output and the oven operating mode on the Miele oven with microwave. These machines come into their own, though, when both functions are combined, for example to roast meat: Cooking times are reduced by around one third. A further practical feature is the popcorn programme which makes fresh popcorn at the touch of a single button.
Despite their compact size, these machines still boast a large 43-litre stainless-steel cabinet. Compared with enamelled cabinets, stainless steel in this category offers a decisive benefit: Given the high efficiency, energy consumption is significantly lower than is usual in this category. Simple cleaning the Miele way is something customers of ovens with an integrated microwave do not need to forfeit as the linen-weave stainless-steel surface features Miele's PerfectClean finish. PerfectClean surfaces on ovens offer excellent non-stick properties and are very easy to clean.
All models sport a compact form which allows them to be installed in a 45 cm kitchen recess. In combination with a 14 cm warmer drawer, the two appliances neatly slot into a classic 60 cm cabinetry recess.
Ovens with an integrated microwave from the Generation 6000 are available in PureLine and ContourLine designs. Alongside a choice of colours, customers can select between EasyControl, DirectControl (both with rotary selectors) and the high-end M Touch interface. M Touch stands for a TFT display where settings are made by swiping or scrolling on the glass display like on a modern smartphone.
