Steelco LC 20 with thermal or chemo-thermal disinfection

High throughput on a small footprint: The 180 cm wide LC 20 cart washer is the most compact machine on the market able to undertake either chemical or thermal disinfection.

Available with either a 1.5 m or 3 m long chamber, the LC 20 is ideal when space is at a premium or for smaller hospitals. In larger hospitals it can be dedicated to containers, with trolleys processed separately in a second cart washer with an outfeed side in the clean corridor for collecting processed goods from the sterile area.

Requiring a shallow pit of only 11 cm, all standard service components can be accessed from the front, with only a further 20 cm required for non-standard service work.

With rotating nozzles, powerful cleaning action and fitted with a 3-stage filtration system including a self-flushing final filter, the LC20 provides excellent validatable cleaning and disinfection results.

The LC20 can reprocess either 16 or 32 containers rapidly, depending on the chamber length. The manifold connection enables the cleaning of instruments and their thermal disinfection in CSSDs, acting as a backup system and reserves in the event of exceptional demand for surgical instruments or during the servicing of washer-disinfectors.

Adjustable floor guides enable easy loading of transport trolleys and other bulky loads. An automatic tilting floor and forced hot air drying ensures fast and efficient drying. The powerful Turbo Drying option regulates the intake of fresh air during the drying phase, saving energy and prolonging the life of the sterile HEPA filter.

The LC20 shares the same control system and touch screen as the larger LC70 and LC80 units, enabling up to 65 different programmes. Machine status and cycle data can be exported, with instrument traceability using the SteelcoData option.
