Updated version available for Android operating system
App-based process documentation now also for Miele small sterilisers
No matter whether visibly soiled or microbiologically contaminated: The reprocessing of medical and dental instruments should be continuously documented. Miele's tried-and-tested DataDiary app represents a reliable and time-saving solution in this respect. The app is designed for thermal disinfectors and small sterilisers. Cycle reports are received automatically and can be saved on a tablet PC. And now a DataDiary update is available – offering even greater convenience in terms of data presentation and archiving. The Android version is immediately available; the version for iPads will follow at the end of 2Q21.
In its enhanced form, DataDiary offers the clear and concise representation of all compatible units on the dashboard and records process protocols in PDF format. This allows the simple archiving of data – wirelessly and without any intermediate steps. This saves valuable time, for instance in transferring data from a machine to a surgery computer.
The app supports up to 9 thermal disinfectors and small sterilisers from the CUBE and CUBE X model series. This presumes that a practice has a WiFi network. Once access has been established, mobile devices receive reprocessing data after each process step – without any further intervention on the part of staff. Employees log into the system by user ID or using an NFC chipcard to approve reprocessing records once a cycle has ended.
Alongside small sterilisers from the CUBE series in dental surgeries, PG 8581 and PG 8591 washer-disinfectors and comparable units used in the medical field are also supported. In addition to this, the new app can also be used in laboratories and connects with technically identical laboratory glasswasher models.
