Elegant, efficient and easy to use

With its new G 6000 generation of dishwashers Miele is completing its lineup of Generation 6000 built-in appliances. With their elegant design, these dishwashers make a perfect match for the other built-in appliances in the kitchen. They achieve an A+++ or A++ rating for energy efficiency, use as little as 6.5 l of water in the 'Automatic' programme and excel with superb drying results. These fully integrated models are also characterised by the new Knock2open door opening system, patents pending, which allows the seamless integration of a dishwasher into a handleless kitchen.

Particularly striking is the design of the fascia panel on built-under models, with its slender stainless-steel trim along the upper edge of the door. This represents the signature feature which ties in the new dishwashers with other Miele built-in appliances. The layout of the controls is another common feature. Fascias, depending on the model, are available in stainless steel, brilliant white, obsidian black and Havana brown and therefore are a perfect colour match for the rest of the product family.

With respect to water consumption and cleaning performance, these machines lead the field. Miele dishwashers operate exclusively on the fresh water principle and, depending on the model, require as little as 6.5 l of water in the 'Automatic' programme. The latter is possible through the combination of electronically controlled commercial-grade pump and spray arm alternation. This feeds water alternatingly to the middle or the top and bottom spray arms respectively combined with varying pressure levels. This not only saves water, it also ensures the thorough and gentle cleaning of crockery.

The new options 'Extra dry' and 'Extra economical' can be activated in addition to wash programmes. This allows customers to adjust wash cycles even more precisely to their individual needs. The new 'Machine cleaning' programme cleans the machine interior, removing stubborn soiling and grease residue.
On all dishwashers sporting an A+++ rating for energy efficiency, the user has a handle on the consumption of water and electricity, with usage visible at a glance. This function offers the option of showing anticipated water and electricity consumption before a programme starts and of checking precise values once the programme has ended. The new FlexiTimer with EcoStart both protects the environment and saves money. Up to three variable electricity tariffs can be entered, allowing the machine to start automatically at the cheapest rate.

For all consumers requiring a conventional dishwasher interface but not willing to relinquish convenience, Miele now has a new proposition: A new dishwasher featuring a traditional rotary selector now also sports a salt dispenser in the door as well as BrilliantLight and the 3D cutlery tray. In the 'ExtraQuiet' cycle, sound emissions on this unit are only 38 dB.

A very special highlight on fully integrated models is a revolutionary world first, patents pending. This highly prized feature is the Knock2Open door opening system which represents a perfect approach to the seamless integration of a dishwasher into a modern handleless kitchen. In this case, the door opens automatically when tapped twice in succession; a door handle is no longer necessary. Extraneous noises from the area surrounding the dishwasher are identified as such – and promptly ignored by the machine. TimeControl on fully integrated units visualises the programme sequence using LEDs. The highlight in the flagship range is the 'touch on metal' user interface: a stainless steel fascia with high-end, puristic appeal and a two-line white-on-black display.

Otherwise, the G 6000 incorporates all the convenience features which Miele customers have come to love on G 5000 models. This applies above all to the patented 3D cutlery tray and the Comfort basket design which makes loading highly flexible. Each and every item to be washed finds its rightful place. To all this, add further patented details such as BrilliantLight interior lighting, a salt container conveniently positioned in the door and AutoOpen for better drying and a faster cooldown. By precisely controlling water hardness, Perfect GlassCare guarantees best possible cleaning and the gentle care of high-quality stemware. And the 'ExtraQuiet' programme comes into its own in open-plan kitchens and during the night.
