Special-purpose programmes for mops, pads and cleaning cloths
Little Giants from Miele come into their own where large volumes of mops and cleaning cloths are required on a daily basis and where space is at a premium: Compact washing machines and dryers with load capacities of 6 kg or 8 kg. With these machines occupying no more than half a square metre of floor space, Miele is offering maximum flexibility – for instance with accessories such as various plinths for installation. All machines can be purchased outright, rented or leased.
The technology on board Little Giants, which have the same dimensions as their domestic counterparts, is designed for heavy use. On the washing machines, special-purpose programmes are available, alongside 15 standard cycles for mops, pads and cleaning cloths. These enable thermal and chemothermal disinfection followed by conditioning with liquid detergent and disinfectant. The desired residual moisture is adjustable. Using the new and well-structured text display, users can quickly and intuitively select all programmes in up to 29 languages.
The patented pre-spinning phase up front has the effect of removing coarse soil and dirty water, allowing a greater volume of fresh water to enter the machine in the main wash. This allows detergent to reach its full capacity. In the case of microfibre mops, additional water is introduced at the end of the main wash. This improves rinsing efficiency and protects fibres.
Installation flexibility
Practical: Miele offers a range of plinths with various heights to facilitate ergonomic loading and unloading. Several models feature an integrated water tank, providing the necessary weight so that there is no need to bolt the plinth to the floor. Plinth and machine can be relocated at any time. In addition to this, there is also a special 75 cm plinth with an integrated lint filter box which filters out coarse debris and prevents it from being discharged into the pipework.
In installations where the drainage connection is in the wall, a drain pump provides the head height needed to raise the water to the drain pipe. Only Miele offers such a pump, including fine filter, which filters out foreign bodies and is easy to clean.
All Little Giants can be connected to the Miele MOVE online portal. Facility managers can browse operating data from the convenience of a PC, smartphone or tablet and see when programmes are finished. Furthermore, Miele Service is accessible fast and a link to the Miele online shop allows detergents to be reordered with ease.
Durable and recyclable
High-quality components such as special heater elements made from corrosion-proof material which contribute to machine longevity. Machine life is further extended by the availability of spare parts for up to 15 years from the time when series production ceases. And to ensure that there is no lasting impact on the environment, already at least 95% of all components used on Little Giants can be recycled.
Financing is possible with a leasing plan with constant monthly rates. The same applies to variable-term rental contracts. Rental agreements can even be terminated prematurely, for example when a cleaning contract has been cancelled or not extended. Optionally, a rental contract can also cover service calls, including all spare parts, even in the event of vandalism and operating errors. And, if a machine has to be relocated during the contract period, Miele Service will see to the deinstallation of washing machine, dryers and accessories – and reinstall all components at their new site.
