Miele with its own booth at World Architecture Festival in Berlin

From November 16-18, Berlin is set to become the mecca for architects and interior designers. The 'World Architecture Festival' is the magnet which will attract some 2500 specialists to Germany's capital to discuss the latest trends in the branch with top-class speakers and to witness awards going to exemplary construction projects. For the first time, Miele will assume the role of 'headline partner' with its own booth at the Arena Berlin.

′The World Architecture Festival is an excellent platform from which to intensify our contacts to architects and property developers', claims Udo Horsmann, Director of Project Management with Miele. The turnkey project business has grown to become an important business field for the company. One special aspect is the fact that exclusive apartments and homes are increasingly being furnished with high-end kitchen cabinetry and appliances even before the new owner moves in. 'Location and specs say a lot about the prestige of real estate. The inclusion of Miele domestic appliances is a tell-tale sign of exclusivity', says Horsmann on the aspects peculiar to the project business sector which is currently of greater relevance to Miele for example in North America, Asia and Australia than in Europe.

In this sector, Miele cooperates on a worldwide scale with project promoters, property developers and EPC contractors. The company employs specialists at its sales subsidiaries who are fully conversant with the demands of the turnkey project business. These specialists from all important international markets will be represented at Miele's 75 m² booth at which reference projects will be on prominent display. The open-plan design of the stand invites visitors to come closer and engage in discussion.
