• First models for niches with a height of 194 centimetres

The family has grown, or a family member developed a passion for cooking with lots of fresh ingredients – there are many reasons to buy a larger refrigerator. But in most cases, the existing niche in the kitchen has a standard width of 60 centimetres. Miele is now launching a fridge-freezer combination with a convenient height of 194 centimetres to meet this requirement. The KFN 7844 C offers plenty of space for food and is so efficient that it is rated in energy efficiency class C.

Compared to the standard height of 178 centimetres, the new XL fridge-freezer offers 17 per cent or almost 30 litres more space in the fridge compartment than a comparable model – so there's plenty of room for bulk purchases. The bright, maintenance-free LED lighting provides a clear overview.

For flexible use of the spacious interior, the appliance is equipped with a divisible FlexiBoard in the refrigerator compartment. By sliding the front half of the glass shelf over the rear half, space can be created at the front for tall containers. The storage space at the rear remains unchanged. Another very convenient feature is the option of placing an entire baking tray on the lower shelf. Miele aptly calls this ‘ComfortSize’.

The XL fridge-freezer combination is equipped with the PerfectFresh Pro freshness system. Thanks to the interaction of cold and humidity, fruit and vegetables stay fresh up to five times longer than in a conventional vegetable compartment.

Another very useful feature: While DynaCool dynamic cooling ensures an even temperature throughout the interior, NoFrost eliminates the need for manual defrosting of the freezer compartment. And the innovative SoftClose closing system from Miele closes the door automatically at an angle of 30 degrees – gently, without bottles clinking.

Like all Miele refrigerators, the KFN 7844 C built-in fridge-freezer combination is connectable and available exclusively from specialist retailers.
