Gütersloh/Munich, February 11, 2026 No. 008/2026
  • Tailor‑made solutions for diverse laboratory requirements

  • Undercounter machines with glass door option and touch display in two versions

  • Hygienic cleaning results and intensive cleaning even with short running times

With a comprehensively expanded product portfolio, Miele Professional will be presenting itself from 24 March at the analytica trade fair in Munich (Hall B1, Stand 302). The focus will be on network‑capable and space‑saving laboratory washers of the new ExploreLine and ExpertLine series, including the PLW 8636 lab glasswasher, which has been available since 2025 and will now be shown at analytica for the first time. All models impress with high capacities, precisely matched programes and high process reliability.

The entry point to the new portfolio is the ExploreLine model PLW 8604. It offers a wide range of standard features including a touch display that simplifies many processes in everyday use. Building on this, the ExpertLine is aimed at laboratories with high requirements regarding flexibility and individual settings. The units feature the 4,2“ colour display M Touch Flex, 19 programmes and up to ten free configurable programme slots. The “Extra Short” programme ensures fast turnaround times and is able to clean 60 laboratory glasses in just 24 minutes. The range is complemented by the new resource‑saving “Standard Eco” programme with reduced water and energy consumption. The machines are available in a white or stainless steel version, the top-of-the-range models measuring 90 centimetres wide are even available with a glass door.

The high‑performance PLW 8636 laboratory glasswasher integrates seamlessly into the portfolio. It combines a compact design with ergonomic loading height and high performance capability. In addition to a wide range of programmes, 50 freely usable programme spaces are available, which authorised laboratory staff can use to save their own new programmes as they wish. An Ethernet connection enables integration into a local network.

The new lab glasswashers also set visual standards: the ExpertLine has been awarded the renowned iF Design Award. The jury praised the clear, functional design, the glass door models with illuminated wash cabinet for better process monitoring, and the user‑friendly device concept tailored to different applications. The PLW 8636 also impressed with its well‑thought‑out design, clear structure and service‑friendliness, earning an iF Design Award as well.

“At analytica 2026, we will be presenting our new ExpertLine laboratory glasswasher generation to our customers. They can see for themselves how the units save time and costs in everyday work and how Miele MOVE contributes to digitalisation in the laboratory,” says Martin Hübner, Head of Miele Professional in the DACH region.

The new lab glasswashers ExploreLine and ExpertLine are network-enabled as standard. They can be connected to PCs, tablets or smartphones using the free Miele MOVE Connect software, in which it is possible to view and manage performance, programme and consumption data.
