Product makeover for ovens

Better performance, improved user comfort – greater choice has been introduced to the range of classic built-in ovens controlling a hob unit in the form of two new Miele induction hobs.

Models KM 6092 and KM 6093 are equipped with PowerFlex rings which flexibly adapt to cooking needs and offer superb power. PowerFlex technology from Miele allows two individual rings to be combined either to form a rectangular zone ideal for casserole dishes or into a large round ring for oversized pans. Another special feature of PowerFlex technology from Miele is the extremely uniform transfer of heat to the base of pots and pans. This is achieved through the virtually gap-free arrangement of induction coils below the ceramic glass screen. This steady transfer of energy to the food creates the ideal conditions for perfect cooking results. When required, high output is available at the touch of a button – up to 3.65 kW on a single ring and as much as 7.3 kW when joined to accommodate a casserole dish. Such power reserves also come in handy when bringing large volumes of water to the boil. The cheaper KM 6092 features a PowerFlex area on the right-hand side of the unit; the KM 6093 can boast two such areas.

An interesting detail: Miele hob units occupy a common cut-out size (560-600 x 490-500 mm) facilitating the slot-in replacement of old products without the need for modifications.

The new induction hobs can be combined with various Miele ovens with hob controls, in particular with the new CulinArt models.
