Fast kitchen aids with that added extra

Microwaves are indispensable helpers in millions of homes, producing delicious dishes and snacks and cooking deep-frozen produce with a minimum of effort. Miele's new microwave ovens from its Generation 6000 series of built-in appliances add attractive design, user convenience and an extra-large cabinet.

As on other Generation 6000 built-in products, the controls and display on the new microwaves are located above the door in the glass fascia (TopControl). Selections are made using retractable rotary selectors and the process is highly intuitive. Models are available in the PureLine and ContourLine ranges in CleanSteel stainless steel, Brilliant white, Obsidian black and Havana brown. This way, the new microwaves from Miele always present a perfect combination together with a wall oven, steam cooker, coffee machine or food warmer from Miele.

The cabinet is extra large. It has a volume of 46 litres and is appealingly illuminated by LEDs. A turntable with a diameter of 40 cm providing sufficient space for several smaller dishes is also included. With this size and endowed with these features, the microwave ovens from the Generation 6000 are extremely versatile.

Depending on the model, the user can choose from up to 23 automatic programmes for defrosting, reheating or preparing fresh food. The 'Popcorn' programme represents a new feature, able to produce fresh popcorn at the push of a button. Further meaningful functions include a high-end grill (depending on the model), a 'Memory' function for frequently used processes and an automatic food-warming function.

Alongside these models for a cabinetry recess with a height of 45 cm, Miele also offers microwave ovens for a 35 cm recess. The cabinet on these models is correspondingly smaller and the controls are located to the side of the cabinet (SideControl). A countertop microwave is also included in the lineup.
