New Miele fridges and freezers are energy-efficient and ergonomic

Gütersloh, April 30, 2025 Nr. 045/2025
  • New generation of refrigerators and freezers for installation under worktops

  • Models available for installation at comfortable heights of up to 92 centimetres

They are ideal for small households: Refrigerators that can be built in under the worktop. This spring, Miele launches a new generation of refrigerators and freezers - with models of improved energy efficiency, greater convenience and ergonomic details. The customer can choose among four fridges and two freezers.

Bending down under the worktop is unavoidable at this installation height, so it's all the more pleasant when clever solutions make it easier to use. The drawers in all appliances are easy to remove, meaning they can be filled, sorted or cleaned from an upright position. The shelves in the door of the fridges are height-adjustable for greater flexibility. The divisible ‘FlexiBoard’ glass shelf is also variable, allowing tall containers or packs to be placed upright and within easy reach.

Particularly practical in a rather small refrigerator is the dynamic cooling system ‘DynaCool’. It maintains a constant temperature throughout the interior, so there is no need to rearrange the contents after shopping.

Extensive, dishwasher-safe accessories, gentle door closing due to ‘SoftClose’, the convenient ‘NoFrost’ function for freezers (no more manual defrosting) and network capability complete the overall package of the new generation.

To ensure a consistent kitchen design, Miele offers appliances with the standard niche height of 82 centimetres, as well as one model per category for the new comfort height of 86 to 92 centimetres. This means that an additional panel is no longer necessary in these niches. A model with pull-out trolleys is also available. Here, pull-outs replace the usual drawers and are operated directly from above.

All appliances of the new generation are significantly more energy efficient. The models are rated in energy efficiency classes C or D, making them one class more economical than their predecessors. All models are already available in stores.
