New solutions for cooking: Miele is expanding its range of hobs and extractor hoods

Gütersloh, 17 August 2026 No. 055/2026
  • More design options with Pearlbeige and matt black

  • Smart cooking assistance and traditional gas cooking to suit different cooking preferences

  • The right extraction solutions for every kitchen plan

Anyone planning a kitchen today expects not only uncompromising performance, but also solutions that fit harmoniously into their chosen design and their daily routine. At the IFA trade show, Miele will be showcasing a range of new products for cooking and extraction: the portfolio is expanding to include new hobs, extraction solutions and design options, offering greater freedom to tailor kitchens precisely to the available space, personal style and the way the kitchen is actually used.

“Every kitchen is different. That is why we are consistently developing our portfolio with solutions that bring design, functionality and convenience even closer together. Whether it’s new colour schemes, smart cooking assistance or additional extraction solutions: our goal is to offer the right solution for as many kitchen concepts and cooking preferences as possible,” says Uwe Brunkhorst, Head of Business Unit Cooking at Miele.

Pearlbeige and matt black expand the design options for hobs and extractor hoods

The kitchen has long been more than just a functional workspace – it is part of the living space and an expression of a personal interior style. Miele is therefore expanding its range to include new colours and finishes, offering even greater scope for personalised kitchen design. By adding Pearlbeige, Miele is expanding the colour palette of its hobs; this shade blends harmoniously into light-coloured kitchen schemes and allows for a coordinated look with Miele built-in appliances in the same shade. At the same time, Miele is building on the success of its matt black finishes. Sales of matt black hobs almost tripled in 2025 compared with the previous year. In future, the MattFinish design world will also be available for further hob and extraction solutions.

Hob solutions for bespoke kitchens and different cooking styles

With the KM 8684 FL PEBE induction hob, Miele is adding the new Pearlbeige colour option to its premium KM 8000 hob range. The model combines the new colour scheme with the M Sense smart cooking assistance system. The system, which is protected by multiple patents, pairs the hob with cookware that has integrated touch controls and up to three temperature sensors. The two communicate with each other continuously, so that the hob automatically adjusts its power output to suit whatever is being cooked. Nothing catches. Nothing boils over. The model will be available from April 2027.

Miele’s new KMDA 5649 hob with integrated extraction is a 60 cm wide 2in1 solution that launches in October 2026. Also available in matt black, it is a fitting option for compact kitchens and modern design concepts. Press release No. 035/2026

With the KMDA 8683 FL, Miele is now introducing M Sense to the KM 8000 series hobs with integrated extraction. This means that the smart cooking system will in future also be available to customers who opt for a 2in1 solution, with automatic power adjustment for precise results and an easier, more relaxed cooking experience. Available from May 2027.

Miele is expanding its range for anyone who appreciates direct flame control and the distinctive experience of cooking with gas. With the relaunch of its gas-on-glass hobs, Miele combines a passion for gas cooking with a high-quality glass surface and a minimalist design. The appliances blend harmoniously into contemporary kitchen designs and offer an attractive alternative to traditional stainless steel gas hobs. The gas-on-glass hobs are designated KM 30xx and will be available from December 2026 in widths of 60, 80 and 90 cm.

Three solutions, one goal: greater design flexibility for extraction

Miele is also continuing to expand its range of extractor hoods. For the first time, the downdraft extractor that rises out of the worktop is now also available in MattFinish. This means that the flush-fitting ventilation solution now blends effortlessly into the matt design world of the hob. This gives the hob and extractor a seamless, integrated look – particularly in open-plan and minimalist kitchens. The DAD 6984 MattFinish launches in April 2027.

New extractor units offer even greater flexibility for bespoke cooker hood and wall unit designs. For the first time, they are also available in matt black, complementing the existing range of matt black hobs and extractor hoods. The result is an even better fusion of high-performance technology and understated design. When used in combination with a matching hob from the KM 8000 series, they can also be conveniently controlled via the hob itself. From May 2027, the extractor units will be available in four widths: 60 cm (DAE 264x), 80 cm (DAE 484x and DAE 284x), 90 cm (DAE 494x and DAE 294x) and 120 cm (DAE 424x).

The expanded range also includes integrated glass panel hoods. When switched off, they blend almost invisibly into the wall unit, while the storage space is largely retained. They are operated via a fold-out glass visor. The new series comprises two widths: DAG 2650 (60 cm) and DAG 2950 (90 cm). Available from October 2026. Press release No. 035/2026

The models will be available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as in other European countries, on the dates specified.
