New tank dishwashers provide sparkling results and are more efficient than ever before

Gütersloh/Nuremberg, April 2, 2019 No. 25/2019

  • Versatile and even easier to operate

  • Operating costs reduced by up to 17%

New undercounter tank dishwashers from Miele offer greater convenience than ever before. The user interface with its high-resolution full touch display is child's play to use and is simple to the point of virtually eliminating operating mistakes. In addition, operating costs are cut significantly by an optimised washing system. Furthermore, the dishwashers due to be launched in 2Q19 guarantee perfect cleaning results.

Depending on the programme, water consumption is reduced by up to 17%. In Eco programmes on the 60 cm PTC 703 model, ideal for washing glassware, crockery and cutlery and economical at the best of times, the final rinse water volume is reduced to just 2 l. These excellent values are achieved through an optimised water circuit and completely redesigned spray arms. On account of water savings, the system also uses less energy and detergents – resulting in an overall reduction in running costs compared with the previous model series.

The new full touch display makes all undercounter tank dishwashers even simpler to use than previously, even when wearing gloves. Self-explanatory pictogrammes navigate to three standard programmes and programme options. Individual functions are intuitively selected.

With a capacity of up to 66 baskets per hour, these undercounter tank dishwashers are capable of washing large mountains of crockery per hour. The programmes are geared specifically to the needs of different load types and degrees of soiling, such as glassware, mixed loads or plates. Variable pressure levels and cycle durations as well as flexible dispensing ensure optimum cleaning combined with the best possible protection of loads. The short programme is finished in only 55 seconds. Safety functions such as integrated spray arm and filter monitoring detect possible problems at an early stage and relay their findings to the display.

As previously, all models can be used as free-standing units or installed below a worktop. With a chamber depth of more than 60 cm, model PTD 704 is particularly suited to washing trays and other bulky items.
