Contracts for particular buildings with a term of up to 4 years

On its German home market, Miele has tailored a rental concept to meet the specific needs of contract cleaning companies. In this branch, it is usual to tender for limited-term cleaning contracts linked to specific buildings, often with a tenure of only 1 year. Once such a contract expires, there may be no further need for a purchased or leased washerextractor used to fulfil the contract. Consequently, cleaners can now rent washer-extractors and dryers from Miele for the duration of a cleaning contract and return the machines once it expires.

The rental contract covers use of the machine and all maintenance including the cost of fitting spare parts. There are no down-payments or end-of-contract charges. After 4 years, Miele agrees to take back a washer-extractor or tumble dryer – but clients are free to terminate the contract prematurely after 12, 24 or
36 months.

After 4 years, at the end of the rental contract, the client can purchase the machines at their residual value. Alternatively, a new rental contract for new machines can be concluded. Miele's field representatives are always on hand to assist with decisions by offering in-depth advice, a thorough analysis of requirements and feasibility studies.

Contract cleaners with any experience of washing and drying mops, cleaning cloths and even curtains in Miele machines will value the benefits they offer: The smallest washing machine (6.5 kg load capacity) is able to accommodate up to 33 cotton mops and the largest (32 kg capacity) can take up to 168, depending on the size and weight of the items. When washing microfibre mops, the capacity of the largest machine even increases to 260 mops.

Four new washer-extractors recently introduced by Miele Professional under the MopStar label represent a labour-saving boon to contract cleaners. Depending on the model size, the four machines have load capacities of
between 6.5 and 13 kg. Using a patented process, mops and cloths can even be impregnated with detergent or disinfectant rendering them ready for re-use. This saves cleaners considerable time and money. The use of ready-to-use cleaning cloths is 40% faster than the manual method and uses only around half the water. Practical tests also point to an improvement in surface cleaning performance of more than 60%. Residual moisture can be set to four different settings to cater for individual needs, allowing each cleaner to achieve maximum performance from the very beginning.

An intuitive user interface further simplifies everyday work - as does the patented Miele pre-spin process: Starting the cycle with a spin has the effect of removing coarse soil and dirty water, allowing a greater volume of fresh water to enter the machine in the main wash. At the same time, this also discharges any detergent or tenside residue, thereby allowing textiles to absorb more tensides from the new detergent, resulting in a positive effect on
wash performance.

Miele's MopStar machines are ideal in meeting the typical requirements of facility management. If, however, clients require larger-capacity machines or more programme slots to compile their own programmes, Miele Professional recommends its tried-and-tested range of washer-extractors. These offer load capacities of between 10 and 32 kg along with Profitronic M controls and 199 programme slots. These machines can easily be retrofitted by Miele Service to produce ready-to-use mops and cleaning cloths.
