Miele washer-extractors and tumble dryers for large and small hotels

Even small hotels and guesthouses can generally find sufficient space for modern laundry technology from Miele Professional: For example, with washer-extractors and tumble dryers with a width of only 70 cm from the successful OctoPlus generation with a load capacity of 8 kg. These machines can even be installed as a washer-dryer stack on a space-saving footprint. The OctoPlus range also includes a washer-extractor with a 10 kg load capacity which represents a perfect match for Miele's SlimLine dryers.

All OctoPlus machines offer for example more than 70 washing and over 40 drying programmes, each appearing with its own clear designation in the display. The machine operator decides which of these programmes is available for selection: For example the 'Hotel' programme package with cycles covering kitchen, table and bed linen or the 'Bedding' package. This range is augmented by special programmes for sports and wellness. Depending on the application, various user interfaces are available: Selection can be limited to just 4 programmes or users given access to the full range. User interfaces in various languages are possible. As a washer-dryer or dryer-dryer stack, these 8 kg machines require only around half a square metre of floor space. On the smallest of footprints, either 8 kg each can be washed and dried at the same time or, using a dryer-dryer stack, up to two 8 kg loads dried simultaneously.

The three tumble dryers from the SlimLine product series perfectly complement OctoPlus washer-extractors with a 10 kg load capacity. With a machine width of only 71 cm, space requirements are low and, moreover, they fit through doors with incredible ease. Despite compact dimensions, performance is high: these dryers are able to cope with 12 to 15 kg of laundry in a single cycle. During an 8-hour day, around 220 kg of laundry can be processed (based on 16 cycles per day, each with 13.6 kg of laundry and an initial residual moisture of 50%). The SlimLine models, which represent a highly attractive price proposition, are available as electric or gas-heated versions and offer a choice of 3 easy-to-use controls. Thanks to an open plinth, these machines are easy to manoeuvre into place with a palletiser and fit through any standard door with ease. Optionally, the plinth unit can be closed with panelling to give a box plinth.

Hotel laundries with more available space are even better served by larger laundry machines from Miele Professional: These washer-extractors can process up to 32 kg of laundry per cycle and tumble dryers even have a load capacity of 40 kg. Numerous programme packages aimed at hotels and restaurants leave nothing to be desired: The 'Hotel/Restaurant/Catering' package, for instance, brings together programmes for kitchen linen, mattress liners, duvets and Turkish towelling – making removing for example seasoning or red wine stains child's play. Even duvets and pillows can be professionally reprocessed: Special programmes take best care for example of duvets with a natural filling made from pure new wool, cashmere, camelhair or silk.
