A range of sizes and programmes to satisfy all needs

Four new undercounter tank models are set to augment the range of commercial dishwashers from Miele Professional from March 2016. Alongside two multi-purpose machines, the new generation also includes two models which were specifically designed for behind-the-counter use. All four models are characterised by technology which adapts to the needs of different loads – and therefore produce top-class results. 

Special features include programmes tailored to deal with specific loads and degrees of soiling: These, for instance, include a programme for wine glasses and one each for beer glasses, mixed crockery and pots and pans. Thanks to variable spray pressure and flexible cycle times and temperatures, items ranging from glassware to trays are cleaned gently but thoroughly. Similarly, final rinse water volumes and detergent concentrations have been optimised for the job in hand. These programme cycles are also designed to deliver the ultimate in efficiency.

With their short cycles lasting only 60 seconds, glass washers are able to cope with huge quantities of glassware. The same can be said of the other models in combination with the shortest programme (75 seconds), able to handle 48 baskets per hour. Programme selection is simple and intuitive via a touch display. Pictogrammes support selection by users of different languages, an approach further aided by a colour-coded start button which provides information on the status of programmes as it changes colour from red to green or blue. The display also allows access to additional information such as an integrated set of operating instructions.

On all models, two composite spray arms for washing and rinsing ensure excellent results. A four-fold filtration system constantly filters the water in circulation. Thanks to the hygienic, cove-cornered design of the cabinet, it is impossible for soil to accumulate in corners. Safety functions such as integrated spray arm and filter monitoring detect possible problems at an early stage and relay their findings to the display.

The four new models can be used as free-standing units or installed below a worktop. They differ in terms of dimensions: With their reduced height of only 72.5 cm, two models will chiefly be put to use as behind-the-counter glass washers: The 46 cm wide PG 8164 with its own new basket system is bound to be the right choice where space is tight. Greater capacity is offered by the PG 8165 with a width of 60 cm.

The two other tank dishwashers with a height of 82 cm are designed for all types of mixed crockery loads. Thanks to a depth of more than 65 cm, the PG 8169 is also ideal for large and bulky items, including trays, baskets and transport containers. New accessories including an undercarriage for baskets as well as drip trays add further value to these products.
