Miele now offers two new network-enabled washer-disinfectors for the safe and efficient reprocessing of respiratory protective equipment. The 60-cm-wide undercounter machines feature an intuitive colour touch display and illuminated wash cabinet to simplify loading and operation. The PLW 8683 Safety AirPro and PLW 8693 Safety AirPro models can be equipped with dedicated baskets that securely hold respiratory masks and lung demand valves in place during cleaning and drying.
Fire services are set to benefit from significantly more reliable reprocessing of respiratory protection equipment. Miele Professional is expanding its portfolio of washer-disinfectors with the addition of the Safety AirPro, which features an integrated compressed air supply. This ensures that air regulators remain under constant pressure throughout the entire reprocessing process, effectively preventing water or chemicals from reaching sensitive components. In so doing, the technology lays the foundations for processes that can be validated in accordance with current hygiene and health & safety requirements, while also ensuring consistently high and reproducible levels of safety.
At the Interschutz trade fair in Hanover, Miele Professional will be presenting a comprehensive range of products designed to ensure the safe and efficient reprocessing of protective equipment used by fire brigades. The company offers everything from a single source, including high-performance washing machines, specialised drying solutions and digital services to enhance safety, hygiene and transparency in day-to-day operations.
