Under the motto “The end of housework is in sight”, Miele will present at IFA 2026 how intelligent technology will make everyday life even easier. The focus is on solutions that not only take over work and individual tasks, but increasingly relieve users of unpleasant decisions. This creates more room for the things that really matter. Product highlights include the world premiere of the G8 Diamond, the top-of-the-range model in the new dishwasher generation. In addition, there is the AI-based CulinaryCoach in the Miele App, the expansion of the W2/T2 laundry care generation, and the concept study “Cary” on the future of washing.
Dishwashers take over the clean up. The thinking, so far, they don’t. Is the dishwasher already full? Which programme option suits the load? Is there enough detergent left? Will I remember to start it later? And will everything really be dry by tomorrow morning? Miele aims to answer precisely these everyday questions with its top-of-the-range ‘Diamond’ model from the new G8 generation of appliances. For the first time, an integrated camera, variable hot air drying, automatic dispensing and the Miele App work together intelligently. For users, this means: they can load the dishwasher, close the door – and can rely on clean and dry dishes ready for use again the next morning.
Which programme? What temperature? What spin speed? How much detergent? The real decision-making begins even before the washing machine starts. With a Miele washing machine, the various programmes, temperature options, spin speed settings, extras and detergent dosing options result in more than a million possible combinations of settings. With its concept study “Cary”, Miele is now showcasing the future at IFA, where users will hardly have to give any of this a second thought. The vision: the machine recognises the laundry, tailors the wash cycle to it and selects the appropriate settings. All that’s left to do is: load the laundry. Press start. Done.
Your favourite jumper. The perfectly fitting jeans. The shirt for special occasions. Some items of clothing are far more than just fabric. They bring back memories of special moments, emphasise your personal style and often stay with us for many years. Precisely because people are now choosing their clothes more carefully, expectations regarding laundry care are also rising. Having already introduced the Diamond Class – the top-of-the-range models of the new generation – two years ago with the W2/T2 Nova Edition, Miele is now following this up with the Platinum, Gold and Silver classes. With the expansion of the new W2/T2 generation, Miele brings the highest level of convenience to every price range.
What’s for dinner today? Which programme is right for the laundry? And is the dishwasher full enough yet? Housework is full of small decisions like these that demand our attention day after day. Under its IFA 2026 motto, “The End of Housework Is in Sight”, Miele is demonstrating how connectivity, sensors and artificial intelligence can increasingly take over decisions like these and make everyday life noticeably easier.
First vacuum, then mop, followed by cleaning the brushes and emptying the dust container – floor care often involves far more steps than you might think. At the same time, customers are looking for solutions that adapt flexibly to everyday life and save time. With the Duoflex HX2, Miele is introducing the second generation of the Duoflex range, setting new standards on the market. The appliance vacuums, mops and cleans itself – turning three cleaning steps into one.
For many consumers, starting a home appliance via smartphone or checking the program status on the go is the first step toward smart home connectivity. But today, smart home appliance apps offer significantly more features, enabled only once the appliance is connected. Take the Miele app* as an example. With its smart assistants, it provides support, helps answer questions about the appliance, and helps save resources and money – making it an intelligent companion for everyday life.
Anyone planning a kitchen today expects not only uncompromising performance, but also solutions that fit harmoniously into their chosen design and their daily routine. At the IFA trade show, Miele will be showcasing a range of new products for cooking and extraction: the portfolio is expanding to include new hobs, extraction solutions and design options, offering greater freedom to tailor kitchens precisely to the available space, personal style and the way the kitchen is actually used.
Living space is becoming increasingly limited. Cities are growing, floor plans are shrinking – and with them the traditional functions of the kitchen, dining room and home office. With its “Miele Compact Living: Kitchen Unit powered by Hettich” concept, Miele demonstrates how this trend can be not only accommodated but also reimagined: as a multifunctional kitchen furniture system designed for minimal space.

Miele is introducing a new artificial intelligence-based cooking assistant called CulinaryCoach*. This feature in the Miele App* helps users find the right settings for their dish more quickly and transfer programmes directly to connected ovens. The CulinaryCoach* will be available in Germany and Austria from the second quarter of 2026.
Artificial intelligence, smaller living spaces, and the desire for greater comfort are transforming life at home. Many people want to spend less time on housework and expect solutions that adapt flexibly to their daily lives. Under the motto “The Future is Now,” Miele demonstrated at the IFA Kick-Off how current social and technological developments are transforming the home – and what specific solutions the Gütersloh-based company offers.
